Very difficult to get an accurate photo the first is the most accurate these shaded yarns are shaded because I dye in the twist.I mix these types of yarns into places where I do motifs as in the pattern above[The above pattern in Gotland will hopefully be finished by March I will share the details relating to this project then] I don't use shaded yarn in whole project except in scarves.Reason being personal opinion only  if you look at plants leaves flowers you can see variation of the 1 colour that makes up the whole colour so at times I use shaded colour.Shaded yarns work well in stranded colour work with of course more uniform gotland dyed yarns. THE EVEN DYED YARN sings because of the characteristics of the GOTLAND YARN [see group photo]
At the end of the day do your own dyeing for your projects its the Gotland base yarn that is responsible for such beautiful colours.
