My fibre has been hand shorn from llamas that I have selectively bred and managed, ensuring the very best quality of fibre. All of my fibre is cleaned and carded, and prepared into rovings, eliminating dirt, seeds and fibre wastage. Llama fibre is soft, warm and oil-free making and is a great fibre for spinners, weavers, hand knitters and felters.

 

To guarantee the quality and integrity of our fibre we do not process with destructive chemicals. The vegetable matter is gently removed by mechanical means. Occasionally remnant vegetable matter may be found in the fibre.

 

Each season will bring a unique colour palette, as the fibre colours will vary from season to season, as happens in all natural production.
